SALARY: £27K

PURPOSE: Now in its 7th year, Forest Road Brewing Company (FRBC) has successfully commissioned its own 4-vessel semi-automatic 60HL brewhouse and production facility in Southeast London.  FRBC has made significant investments in their brewing plant and packaging hall in 2022 to ensure a sturdy platform from which to continue delivering fast growth from.  FRBC brewed over 10,000 HL in 2022 and fully intends on delivering another triple digit growth year in 2023. FRBC is now looking to add a self-motivated, business development manager to develop a territory within London. FRBC will continue to grow the POSH lager brand to become the most drank independent lager in the country.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Acquiring new Business is a huge part of the job and the candidate will be required to cold call and make meetings with potential customers to ensure they reach company goals and subsequent bonus.
  • Manage an account base in London across on trade and off trade, ensuring the highest level of customer service. Excellent performance is mandatory, anything in excess is generously rewarded. You will reap the benefits of your own hard WORK.
  • Reporting in to the Head of Sales weekly, you will be required to manage your own time to get the best results. Flexibility is key as some of our accounts won't be open till late. So organization and planning are crucial.
  • Be a Forest Road Brewery ambassador - we want you to be passionate about the brand and the industry and represent that in front of customers.
  • Being a smaller brewery - the candidate needs to be malleable. Not every day is the same - you might be at a craft beer festival one day and selling another but that's part of the fun!
  • Some Evening and Weekend work when required!
SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Creative, energetic and hard-working wanting to work for the newest London brewer!
  • Experience is a huge bonus however not mandatory - if the right candidate has the right materials they will also be considered. Salary based on experience/skill-set
  • An in-depth knowledge of beer and the beer industry is good to have.

  • This is a hands-on position with a rapidly growing company with huge potential.

Hours of Work & Holiday Entitlement:
  • 40 hours per week (Mon-Friday)
  • Holidays – 20 days per annum plus 8 bank holidays
